So I keep hearing on Pulp that KTM/Barcia could be happening next year.

If this goes ahead, do you think they might consider putting him on a 350 seeing as he seems to prefer riding high in the rev range? Or is he going to be at too big of a disadvantage doing this? SX might be tough with the lower torque compared to the 450, but possible be okay outdoors?

Barcia on a 350 could turn out to be a thing. Makes a great bike for recreational riders who no longer race.

Maybe if he performs top 5 in MX. If he performs like he did in SX this year I doubt any factory team will want him.

I see him as another Canard, probably pick him up reasonably cheap, and he has the 'potential' to run at the front.

Won't be happening. KTM will have a new 450 for the 2018 Supercross season, being released as the 18 450 FE. There won't be a 350 version of said updated bike until the 19 production model.

Still ive been saying it for years throw barcia on a 350. They are not at a disadvantage anymore they put out close to the same power as the 450 anyways. I cant imagine a factory 350 would be that under powered.
I just dont get how people say its a disadvatage when the top 5 on 250f are running the same times as the top 5 in the 450 at some rounds.

Barcia needs a thumb throttle with a limiting screw.

A little off topic but are the Adam Cianciarulo to GEICO rumors still swirling? If so who would PC have if both AC and Hill leaves for the 450 class?

Has there been any sign or statement that JGR are not happy with Barcia? If he was going anywhere I'd expect it to be Rocky Mountain to replace Bagget when he steps up to RB-KTM. With Barcia's results the last few years, I can't see anyone throwing big money at him

I doubt Roger would want to even deal with the guy. I used to be a fan but he seems to be turning into a giant douche with the way he's been riding.

Barcia is as talented as he is a head case..........It seems to me he blames everybody and everything but himself. He is a really talented dude and if someone like roger can reel him in, they may have something. I for one would love to see it.

^Exactly Forkner is the future of Kawasaki. Barcia does blame everyone buy himself, reminiscent of chad. Chad once said that he's only been comfortable with his bike twice and that was both years he won. Thats a belligerent statement to make. Barcia I see ending up on one of those BTO type teams where failed careers go to die...(Alessi) Different team but same concept. Pay less money, have a reasonably good rider for the level of team, he could podium a couple mud races.

Obviously Forkner and Savatgy but they would have two spots if AC and Hill left

I'd really like to see AC or Coop get the opportunity to work with Roger before he retires.

Baggett will take Dungey's spot, Barcia will take Baggett's spot. Watch Baggett be a title contender this summer, he's been riding outdoors for over a month already.

The bike that has won 4 titles and gawd knows how many wins in recent years?

Shift the bike bro.

Barcias sx season was terrible, but he'll be top 5 in points at the end of the mx season maybe even top 3. If he gets his mojo back he'll be battling for the podium.

BTO? You mean the Butler Bros KTM team? Full factory support with dudes like Bagget and Millsaps running incredibly well all year? I do not think BB4's career is at all dying...

Coop couldve worked with Roger this year. I get him wanting to stay loyal to yamaha sonce they were the only ones that gave him a shot when he was going pro, but he shouldve went with ktm IMO. Maybe the money wasnt anywhere that yamaha offered, but id like to see him on a smaller/slimmer bike.

The only reason i could ever see this is the rev limiter point you make. i just don't see a mesh of personalities. Although a lack of speed will humble the most brash of ballers

He fucking should be though! Dude is talented as balls and gets paid a shyte load... literally too stubborn to grow tho.

Eli doesn't ride the same as he did on a 250. Nor Kenny. Nor most who transition well. It's crazy when you look at the level of guy he is and he just can't change it up.

^^^ Pay attention to this. Blake was looking really solid in SX this year , and he's always been better outdoors. I have a feeling we are going to be in for a treat this year watching him.

I agree with you on that. Hes never evolved his style and he moved up in 2013. I dont know how he hasnt, how many times has he heard it, youd think he wouldve already. He should be at or close to Tomacs and roczens level and better then Anderson given his 250 history. Crazy how people and time has passed him by. If he doesnt do good this outdoor season next year is going to be a tough one for him, hes been given plenty of chances.
