Two sides to every story, but fucking hell I hope he's either not pedalling that line or he does better than he did on JGR!

Were they taking the piss when they mentioned JS7 got arrested? Feel like I would have heard about that?

I'm super out of the loop.. Are Reed and JT really fighting? What happened?

|

why am I reading this? ..... Oh christ, now I'm posting...... shiiiiiiiit!!

I take it as, either, shit or get off the potty. I think Barcia has six round's to prove he's the real deal or not. A1....just around the corner.

There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear.

Doubt it, sounded like show banter.

So nothing about Barcia tho? Pretty rude dumping on JGR if that's the case...

Yep,. He did smear the JGR name, definitely not a good gig to play. I learned a long time ago not to bite the hand that feeds you.

they probably talk about his alpinestars interview. here the bit he talked about jgr. nothing I would consider trash talk.

also: they really want to blame him taking a factory ride rather than doing it all by himself? that's a big pile of horseshit right there. plus they say webb is the one to watch because they heard a lot of positive feedback about the '18 yz from a view riders but same doesn't apply to barcia? he won on the old model. sure he won't tun into a championship contender but a couple top 5 finishes are possible. And that's what he was hired for, he isn't the number 1 guy in the team the anymore unlike at honda and jgr.

Going back to what you were talking about with working with a factory team. Is there a difference between being a part of the factory effort as opposed to the JGR effort?I’m not asking you to be negative or anything, but I was just curious. It’s definitely very different. I went from factory Honda to kind of a satellite team and back to a factory team, so it’s very different how everything works. You know, I think it’s hard for these satellite teams to beat these factory teams because the factory teams have so many more resources and so much more experience and stuff like that, so I think, for me, stepping this way has been very eye opening. I think about some things that I wasn’t able to do on a satellite team and it kind of opens things up a little for me and I can see maybe there was some stuff that I was missing out on we were missing out on the last few years

Barcia implying the other guys broke the bike?

“we started working on things that didn’t hurt the bike and would, hopefully, make it better.”

what other guys? he said they started testing the bike from scratch. So they took a stock bike and started testing everything that is available. But you can make a bike worse by choosing the wrong components or give it to much hp's (they touched briefly on that problem in the podcast. the yz just doesn't need more power because it will make the handling worse.). That's what he's saying I would think.

What did he say about JGR?

|

12/14/2017 8:46 AM

Matthes, JT and Weege have jumped the shark imho. They don't have any more idea than you or I whether Justin will perform or not.

Where and when did Justin smear JGR?

Weedge said he has the last 4 years of Barcias performance as proof

I'll take Keith McCarty's opinion over Weege.

|

12/14/2017 9:16 AM

So if after 6 rounds and Bam Bam is running 2014 speed, does he still have to go? IMOP I don't think DM will be any faster than Justin

Ah, yes. Keith McCarty, a truly unbiased source.

Personally I think Barcias gonna kill it this year.....if he stays healthy. Staying healthy was the secret to Wilson’s success......if you could call that a secret. But it’s hard to argue Weeges proof!

It wasn't all poor performance during that time obviously. I find it funny how people have selective memories about things. I think Justin is as or
more talented than Deano but that's just my opinion. I also hope he does great!

|

12/14/2017 11:03 AM

I did not listen to the podcast yet but I read the above thing. Honestly I think Barcia will do better this year becaus it is factory yamaha. Yeah jgr was technically factory yamaha but it' really wasent if. that makes sense. I'm not saying he is gonna go way better but I think he will be better because he know he did not do shit last year and has another shot

|

12/14/2017 1:07 PM

I hope he does well. Hell, I hope they all are on it. I’d kill to see a battle royal every race. cool
