He's doing well, but there's a lot of fast guys out there. Expect him to get a few moto wins and an overall possibly by season's end. When you have a class where 10-11 guys can get moto wins and overalls, it's tough to stand out. But he'll fare well this season.

He is coming back from injuries (head and wrists) ! So he will keep improving

Agreed. Didn’t used to be a fan of his but he has earned my respect. Glad to to see him grinding it out. He will get better as the season wears on.

Don't you guys know? The 450 is not ridable by pros. The 250, in spite of being in the same frame, and five pounds lighter, is an animal on the track. It has nothing to do with Yamaha's inability (unwillingness?) to pay a great rider. Barcia is ok, and producing results under top ten, but that doesn't matter. It's the bike. If only Barcia was on any different brand, he'd be on the podium every. single. week.

Pretty sure the last 2-3 years have proven that there are about 3-5 guys who are likely to win, and from that group, 2-3 are much more likely to win an overall than the rest.
