Bar positioning

Where do you guys run your bars? Inline with your forks? Rolled forward? Rolled back a bit?

always tilted back about 10 degrees or so from inline with the forks. On bars with a crossbar, i use a socket on an extension on the rearmost bar clap bolts and let the top crossbar roll back until it hits the socket extension.

i grew up with the bars rolled way forward and levers pointing up. I have mellowed out as a vet and keep my levers in-line with the bar and the bar rotated forward to the small line in between 2 and 3 of the center marks on the bar mounts. it ends up being just forward of the forks and pulls my face over the crossbar while standing and forces me to be forward through turns ... it may not be right but it’s how i like it!!!

Depends.

If I’m riding hard packed/blue groove type tracks I roll my bars back a little bit more than normal.
All other types of tracks I keep them around the 0 to 1 mark.

I have the ktm low bend fatbar. Ran it inline with the forks for a while. Recently rolled them back about 10-15 degrees. Made my bike feel like a pitbike. I like it and might get a set of bars with more sweep so its not rolled back quite as far.

Renthal 997, with crossbar cut, Nice flat bar not a lot of sweep. Rolled back a few degrees.

I want to try the fat bar equivalent to the 997 one day.

Markee : did you notice much different flex when cutting the crossbar?, I have the same and bad wrists so was thinking to do the same.

O.P. Slight roll back from 0. Lever angle what ever feels good!.
