Maybe what they should do is convert all the bicycle lanes to dirtbike lanes.

Could you imagine pulling up to a stop light and having some pissed off wheeliboyz squirt Monster all over your windshield while screaming "Share the road homie!"

My impression was the guy was just saying if you build something, make it more like a street environment. Not "we don't want a track." Nice to see Happy Ramblers- I've raced it many times.

surely some enterprising private party will identify the need of these inner city enthusiasts and build a combo MX track, supermoto track and dragstrip!

Ofc they don't want to ride dirt. As soon as they hit ruts and bumps they look like a tool.

Keep the wheelz on the ground fellaz... and maybe wear a helmet... and maybe don't ride dirt bikes on public streets... or perhaps if you are going to do so, at least don't do it at night without a light on your bike... and without a helmet. You think a football player would know better. Or maybe not. The circle of life is really a fascinating thing.

Holy crap...

Where did the tv station intern come up with that picture of a "dirt.bike"?

Isn't that some ancient Suzuki? Like early 70's?

I know. Thats gotta be a joke right? The intern probably is a Vitard and he knew we would all get a laugh out of that picture.

My guess...77 Honda SL 125

Ridge and I took our 250's out to the Brotherhood Raceway dragstrip in Long beach back in the '90's and ripped 18 second wheelies all night to the delight of the crowd...

I read the same. They need a flat paved area for their tricks

And everyone should feel sorry for them when they're injured or killed.

It's dirty, so it's a dirt bike, right? Laughing

A moto park, paved or not, won't work.
It's just like street racing. Some prefer to race on the street than race at a track. Living here in Portland OR, I had 3 drag strips within an hour drive or so, but I preferred to do my racing on the street. Something about lining up on a public road, money or pride on the line, knowing I could get pinched, knowing I could lose my car, knowing I could crash and be no more, and just letting my little 351 bang gears at 6 grand that just tickled my fancy. Was that a smart move? Of course not. It was really stupid. It was about the rush though. So I do get where they are coming from with not wanting to go to a park.

Actions speak loudly, he didn't have to say it.

I have a suggestion for a solution to these losers but I'll just keep it to myself.

"Legally"

One word that'll kill the conversation.
And BL don't think for one second that the illegal-thrill component to this is what largely drives this behavior. I know "give them jobs" ... whatever...

That was one of the most cringe worthy interviews ive ever seen.

You have a dirtbike with knobbies but want to ride on the street, you wont go to a designated track or facility to ride on the street... sorry but i have my suspicion about why they wont head to any tracks. And yes im insinuating theviery and not wanting to get caught red handed.

Im calling a spade a spade. And that was just moronic.... No they should not build a concrete wheelie park, like wtf... fuck...

I hope they keep their word and stay away from our "moto parks" in PA. Last thing I want is these clowns riding at my local tracks.

Why's that?...Since you don't own the track, I'd jump one selfish disgruntled rider like you to get 20 wheelie boys memberships...

Do you have to make everything about racial undertones? Why dont you just stop defending every single thing that you assume to be race related and just look at the circumstances. Your the racist.

Guilty much?..show me where I said anything about race, and why aren't you attacking all the other posters of what you accuse me of?...

They are forgetting another thing. How are these guys going to get their bike to the track / park? My guess wouldnt be on a trailer or truck.
