Baggett or Webb at Daytona?

I know the favorites, but who do you think will rise to the front? 4 or 2? I know Baggett has some sort of possible wrist issue, but looking back at his Daytona results, he seems to ride good there. Webb looked primed at Atlanta last weekend. He seemed to be feeding of the local crowd as well. Daytona is not much further south.

I am curious what you all think.

I was wondering the same thing for all the SX pools I'm in. I would normally pick Baggett over Webb at Daytona, but who knows how bad the wrist really is. Hmmmm :/

Herlings! Oh no wait, Eli!

Would be great to see Blake or Cooper get their first career win!

I'm not an Anderson fan, but I think he's going to come out swinging. I hope tomorrow brings some good racing between him and Eli. As far as 4 or 2.. I think one of them will podium.

Webb into the top 5 for sure. Podium? Hmmmmmmm..... you have to beat Tomac, Anderson or Musquin to get there and I'm not sure I see Webb doing that just yet. Maybe....

Yes I know I know the #3, 25, and 21. Let me rephrase..........if the 4 and 2 were heads up, who would you pick? forget about the other three for a minute.

Straight up? I would take the 4. Currently, I would bet on the 2. Wrist injuries are no joke, and the 2 looked pretty good last week.

Webb has never raced Daytona, but I think this could be a good track for him. I think he does better on the 450 when he doesn't have to navigate around tight corners.

All I know is it’s nice to have a season when it’s getting very hard to pick the podium.

Out of those 2 I give the edge to Baggett.

The thing about webb is he builds slow. He starts off mid pack for a year then starts getting top 10s early next year then top 5s mid year then top 3's then before you know it hes dominating the class for the next few years. I dont know if hell ever be faster than eli but he was better than anderson and marvin when he was on 250s so the talent is there. Some people are about to be moved further back on the results list because I dont see him getting any worse from here out and before we know it hell be a consistent top 3 rider. He also was great at coming through the pack on 250s and building late in the race if need be. I think sooner than later hes going to cement himself as a top 3. He pretty much already is.

You are forgetting about the injuries to Roczen, Barcia, Seely... Webb is 7-10th with an occasional top 5

Wonder how Webb finding his groove will play when Barcia comes back? Both will want to be the alphadog and get on the podium.....good for us fans

I agree. I think by the end of supercross he will be consistent top 5 with a few podiums and maybe a win. I have a feeling outdoors will be a different story and we will begin to see him emerge as a top 3 guy and be a threat to win on a regular basis. The Webb haters are going to continue to say he sucks until he gets that win, then they will make an excuse as to why he got said win and still say he sucks.

Webb is dicing it with and passing the guys who had those whom are injuried covered. Webb came into the season hurt and behind. Barring him being injuried I think we’re about to see the Webb we were expecting A1 ‘17. This should make the outdoors even better.

When did he beat Anderson on a 250? He has not looked like himself since he got on a 450.

I am a big fan of Blake and i hope his wrist is good tonight. I don't know what you guys think but Blake has an awesome style on the bike and im rooting for him tonight. Hope Webb does good too! He needs to keep the ball rolling and get a win!

He was running with Anderson in the second main last week. He's obviously benefited from some injuries but injuries don't just allow a 7-10th place rider to hang with the points leader. The guys riding better, plain and simple.
