In before flush:

Assault: threatening in any way to do harm to another individual, without making physical contact.
Battery: Making physical contact.

Example: You cant assault an unconscious person, but you can batter them.

You can assault a conscious person without ever Physically touching them.

It,s always just the end of the event, in all these videos. I have no idea what happened leading up to the end. Anyway I just went into Elizabeth- Newark NJ. And got a load today. I really like the people in Jersey, professional , genuine and fun always .

Just so I'm clear, we have photographic evidence that the cop didn't hit the scooter, but people are still arguing that the cop nearly killed the guy, and shouldn't be a cop?

What am I missing?

Some people have an agenda. They'll ignore the facts and evidence if it doesn't fit their cause. I asked Donkey Kong if the officer didn't hit the scooter, would he admit he's wrong... twice I believe. He wouldn't even answer. Obviously I knew the answer prior to even asking. You can get a real good idea of someone's agenda when they wont answer simple questions.

Look at that guy. I can just tell that pic is from the 60's. How is it that people were such badasses back then and such pussies now. If we wanted to test an ejection seat now there would be 6 months of computer simulations and 6 months of crash test dummies... back then they just found the guy with the biggest set of balls and strapped them in. My hat is off to all the guys from the 40's 50's 60's and 70's who built the modern world with blood, sweat, determination and courage. We suck now.

Lots of body cam footage showed today, but nothing shows if he was hit by PD car, PD car hit stop sign and stop sign hit him. Did hear at least one LEO yell don't take off his helmet or move his head or neck. They also thought he was having an OD, but he was seizing. Just an ugly situation.
