Get the 19 and PC the frame first thing. You’ll want to disassemble the linkage, swingarm, and head tube to grease it anyways so you’re half the way to tearing it all the way down for powder coating.

I went with the 18 over 19 a while ago but the price difference was $1500. Don't think you can go wrong with either bike but $800 is not enough.

Couldn’t make it out last night due to flooding on my property called made the deal for the 19, get there this morning to pick it up and they raised the price 269$ on the 19 so got the 18 instead. Not worth almost 1100 to me, now I get to spend 1100 on mods for it immediately. Wee Orange frame! Gonna start a mod thread later.

Congrats man! Bummer they tried adding almost $300 extra on the 19. But the orange frame is sweet!

'18 is such a good bike and I do prefer the orange frame as superficial as that sounds. If the Corona doesn't add 10 pounds, soften those forks up a bit. $1100 was worth it.

If a dealer told me one thing over the phone, then raised the price when I got there....I would not buy any bike from that place just on principle......and would let anyone that was in the store that day know that was happening to me......

But then again I'll drive 4 hours to save $100.00..........Thats just my way to thank a dealer that really wanted my business more than the dealer that calls me a liar to my face when they won't match the $100.00.

But I also enjoy driving down the road in this great country of ours. Meet alot of great folks that way.

Congrats dude! I too went with an 18' , only in a white 2 stroke version. It was over $1300.00 cheaper , and I just liked the looks of the 18' better. That's $1300.00 I can put towards that bike or other's. Don't regret my decision one bit.

I'm kinda with you there. But idk what the OP's dealership situation is, so it may be the only one within so many miles. I'm lucky enough to have 10+ dealerships within an hour drive. I wouldn't drive 4 hours to save $100 because I'd use close to the same driving that far plus my time. But I understand where you're coming from.

I completely agree, I even put down a deposit and confirmed the amount I was going to write in the check. Get there and “uhh whoops sorry we can do that deal on the 19 anymore... we can on the 18 still tho.” Of course I gave them the normal r u fucking w me? But it is believeable the price they gave that they wouldn’t make any money (8419) the 800 spread was enough I had to ask you guys about it and think hard, 1100 made it not easy but enough to say just gimme the orange frame. I suggested they give me a full yosh for it at cost to eat up the misquoted price difference and their “cost” on the full yosh was 120$ more than what they are on eBay

Nothing pisses me off more than dealing with dealerships. Ultimately I don’t give a shit about service just that I get the best deal since who cares it’s all fake. not like I pay for the premium hookers to pretend they love me and say Im the biggest theyve ever had


And there was a beer store I. Their parking lot so figured give the track sluts something decent this weekend to celebrate

If you look close at a few KTM Pro’s you will notice they are running 18’s with 19 plastic. I think it is personal preference.

I have the 19 and it does have the Quick Turn Cam, I love it! The handling is great and power for anyone up to PRO. If you want more hit put on a FMF with a Mega Bomb header. Expensive...yes,but perfect pipe for KTM, IMO

Nice! I’d go ‘18 too! Orange frame looks much better. I’d ride, see what I liked and could improve upon and spend the difference there. Suspension tweaks, ECU, nice orange hubs and sprocket, etc.

Glad you are happy and got your bike. I too would've had a hard time giving that dealership any cash after they switched their price. Had one of the largest car dealerships in my area do that to me on a truck I was looking at. The salesman's "manager" asked me what it was going to take to make the deal and I said honor your original quote. No we can't do that, I walked and purchased at a smaller dealership 2 hours from me out of spite!

I would of went for the 18 as well. Valve the shock, sell the forks, buy a used set of CV, and a slip on that bike is ready to RIP! Enjoy!
