Since last year it has been quiet around Paolo Martin in the MXGP paddock. Martin ran the Honda factory team for many years, leading Trampas Parker to the 250cc world title in 1991. After all, now Marting Racing Technology is silently working on a return through the big gate with Ducati!
Do not expect big announcements for the time being, but all signs indicate that Ducati has been thinking seriously about offroad for some time. Because now that KTM is increasingly manifesting itself in racing, Ducati wants to turn the tables. After 14 Superbike world titles, the Italians would be fed up with the SBK. From 2021, MotoGP and MXGP should become the sporting spearheads!
The fact that the Bologna manufacturer and parent holding Lamborghini is serious is underlined by the team of specialists gathered for this mysterious top project.

Weren't they toying with the idea a while back or am I thinking of someone else?
My friend snuck this spy photo out of a secrete R&D facility in Borgo Panigale, Italy
Didn’t even recall that he’s the “Martin” that ran a Honda team waaay back when…
Then I see that this is an old April Fools post?
I love this place.
