BREAKING NEWS!!! Villa FV 125 Fuel Injection

Written Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:13.

What a bomb, when on a normal Sunday discover through the social channels that the old brand from Motocross now in disuse gets back to making a new bike, cheers you what is the end of a long weekend ... .. ;-)

We are talking about VILLA ITALIA, maybe someone is too young to remember the brand, but Villa was well known in the Motocross world, with its soft orange or red and white colored bikes, well, the NEW is that it will be present at EICMA, which opens to the public on Thursday 8 November and ends on 11, with its NEW MOTORCYCLE, a 125 FV Fuel Injection !!!

I don't know anything about this exactly or the brand, but fuel injection on a two stroke is hardly earth shattering.

I would absolutely love to see the US series go back to a 125cc class that allows all these smaller manufacturers in. There are several companies making 125's... time to step up and support them. Maybe it's not the prettiest bike out there, but neither was the Cagiva or KTM back in the 80's and early 90's.

It's nice to see the smaller manufacturers doing the jobs that mainstream japanese manufacturers just won't do. Japan, Inc. deserves to take a back seat to Europe in the off road world.

The new model looks like it has Ohlins shock, Paioli or KYB Fork?

The only Italian motorcycle I ever rode (02 Husky 125) I really liked because the suspension was more active and 'reboundy' so it worked really good on trails, not just motocross.

italian design is overrated as fuck. if it was an upstart from bangalore, i'd say ok nice first go. 30yo company from italy? come on.

Do I notice a familiar style on the Aprilia V-Twin? If they would paint that aluminum tank it would look much better.

No, it's a shame but they never came out with an updated version, I think 2011 was the last year?

It seems some people still desire them for Supermoto or track racing.

https://www.apriliaforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?50-2006-2011-April…

I always wanted one, but they got a bad rep as time bombs.
Here's a good shot of one ridden by Julian Bill and shot by the legend TFS, RIP moto brother. "People and Signage"
