So what did you think?

I have that bike, it's great. Barcia makes it sing.

The "Twomac" video and now this one have made me realize that there aren't too many legitimate 2-stroke racers left, even among the older pros. The last time Tomac raced a 2 was on an RM85, and Barcia didn't really even do that (he was the poster boy for the CRF150, remember.)
These guys who grew up racing thumpers missed out on a whole style of moto. I'm glad they can appreciate and love the smokers, though.

I never remember him on a 150.... I remember him wringing 85s and 125s for all they had

Cool video but i feel like in a couple parts the engine sound didn't match up with the riding. Just something i noticed.

Fair point, but if memory serves me correctly I remember seeing Bacia shred a CR125 back in the day.

Everyone would leave and not watch.

Look at what happened at RBSR when they ran the 2 stroke final before the 4 strokes.
Stands were empty for the 4 strokes final. The following year it was all 2 strokes, nobody left, and they went nuts.

Nobody left bummed out.

Guessing they were grabbing the sound from the GoPro camera and trying to match it up..

The TwoMac video has me wondering why Kawasaki doesn't capitalize on it and give us a KX250 and KX125!!!

Just give us the '05 versions! I'd be happy.

No, just make it so that equal capacities can race against each other at the highest levels.

2Ts and 4Ts together make for great racing, and sounds.

'Monoculture' / 'sheltered workshop' racing, of any type, makes for BS racing, and boring sounds.

The poster boy for the CRF150 was Cooper Webb. Barcia was straight 2 stroke in his AM days.

Barcia did the honda commercial.

For me honestly it's hard to watch these videos of pros displaying their raw talent on these two strokes and not hate manufacturers for killing them off the way they did... watching this and twomac makes me feel robbed as a fan.

That was really bugging me; I almost turned it off. I'm glad I stayed for Barcia's commentary at the end.

The guy who edited this one either had a really tough job to fix some bad audio, or he took too much "artistic" license dubbing in what he thought would make it sound better. Either way it did not sync up well with the visual.

Funny fact, but back around 2008. When Honda came with their 85cc competiter (the crf150) almost everone here was talking about how the 85 class would be all 150 fourstrokes in 5 years time.

But here we are 11 years later and i'm glad only Honda took the 150 road and you don't see them alot anymore

Thankfully, enough federations / racing organizations and promoters didn't bend over for Honda, so there wasn't an accross the board / World allowance of 150cc 4Ts being allowed to compete with 85cc 2Ts.

And, those that did, mostly learnt the error of their ways.

As far as I know, the AMA had an 85cc 2T to 125cc 4T formula, already. But, Honda tried to 'create' their own formula. The AMA, and, I think, some of the other Mini sanctioners showed some spine for once, and didn't take 'It' the way Honda wanted to do the Minicycle side of the sport.
