Could be seen as trivial I know. But always wondered why Husky or KTM never rock Military themed graphics for San Diego... Unless they do and it's just insanely subtle?

Seems like the other teams have a lot of fun with it. The bikes this year looked awesome especially the MEK and FCH bikes.

Is it a Red Bull thing?

It has nothing to do with military appreciation, look at their MXdN and other special occasion bikes. They don't do big changes to the looks of the bikes.

They made some small changes this weekend with a digital camo pattern but it's almost impossible to notice.

This is kind of what I was getting at. My question is why they don't have a little fun with it.

It was good that Ken chose the Iwojima US Marines from WW2 for his helmet... cuz Im not so sure the German army from WW2 would have been in good taste lol or a hit with the fans/sponsors. Good save Ken hahaha, that would have been a SHIT SHOW on military appreciation night...

Well, in his defense, you did say "Is it a Red Bull thing?" and Ken rides for Red Bull.

As a vet myself, what is this about? Just to say hey thanks guys or is there any money that goes to the wounded warrior project etc...? If its just to say thanks thats perfectly fine, they gave me plenty of great racing to watch while I was deployed and Im thankful for that.

I think it's just a thank you for what you do, so that we have the freedom to do what we do.

On Feld's end I think there's a section reserved for all branches of the military.

Redbull ktm was the only team that didnt do it. If youre anything but a privateer pitting out of a pickup truck you should be participating in the appreciation night.

They honor the military extensively at every supercross race that I’ve ever been to. I’m thankful for those who served, but many of these riders are from other countries. Literally every motorcycle raced by them and owned by us is built in other countries. If an Austrian team chooses not to put American flags on their motorcycle and it makes you mad then maybe loosen up and appreciate all of the american pride they pack into every supercross and motocross race every weekend and stop being so sensitive.

RB KTM did the camo thing just like Yamaha and Husky. From MXA:

The Red Bull KTM 450s had just the slightest bit of camo design in their graphics. But you have to look closely to find it.

Maybe we should just start with a blockade and financial sanctions first?

They’ve never really been a huge participant in military night. Even at red bud they don’t ever change it up..

Can we build a wall between the USA and Austria??? Obviously they are horrible, horrible people.

Austria is a neutral country and not a member of NATO. They had to declare their permanent neutrality in order for the Soviet Union to recognize their independence again after they joined with Nazi Germany during WWII. They do have military forces for national security and have participated in some UN peacekeeping missions.

RD's kid in US military? Then RD's an utter fool and his kid is ignorant. "The Man" should know better washing dishes at Hard Rock Cafe is a more respectable job than serving for the worlds largerst terrorist organization, the US govt military industrial complex.

All of your posts this year have been ranting and raving about conspiracies and such. Why even sign up to a motocross message board?

Please go and rant and rave on a crackpot tinfoil hat wearing type message board, I am sure there are lots of them on the internet, you will feel very welcome.

Because they realize the absurdity of ‘military propaganda’. It’s about keeping the military front of mind for the general public. to the point where even the notion of cutting any budget from it strikes fear into the public. And to make the career seem like the absolute best more respected career in the world of risk and necessity.

Military appreciation always feels like
Manufactured propaganda rather than anything real. All service member should be respected for their service, but personally I don’t think the military itself should be given the propaganda treatment.

Thats not right dude!

The American Army arent terrorists...They do like to "appropiate" a bit of oil though.

The soldiers are doing the job given to them. They try to do it with honour. The rest is politics/money.
