Don't follow my home country nationals, however I see coming second overall for the season in the lites (MX2) is a young fella on a KTM 250 stroke. Good to see this rule in Australia to be able to race in lites.

Do they have a rule, where only an Aussie can ride a 2 stroke? All other Nationals restricted to the valve and cams? DryWhistling

His name is Egan Mastin, he is a good kid and has worked very hard, spent last year and a couple of years on and off previously in the US training and racing Lorretta's. I'm hearing he might be on the Aussie factory Ktm team on a 450 next year and after the nationals will be on a 250f for supercross with his privateer team Davey motorsports.

Not 100% on what the rule is but there is quite a few 2 bangers in that lites class

Yeah mate - was living in Singapore and had it built - pretty much full pro circuit - barrel, head, pipe and exhaust. carb mods, A kit suspension. Hinson clutch everything you could wish for! Owed me over 20grand including the purchase of the bike....

Miss it very much, even though I haven't ridden a bike in 5 +years. The person who bought it got all the stock engine parts and suspension, plus spare PC barrel and Head - ran on 114oct race fuel was quick and torquey...

Dayum, thats like 60 times more strokes than a 4 stroke! Gotta be terrible of biblical proportions!

Or did a 250 have a stroke?
