Nothing more to say race cancelled.
The arrogance is punched, everybody could see it's going to be a disaster.
Only the Fia and the F1 council put there head into the sand.

Following the confirmation that a member of the McLaren Racing Team has tested positive for COVID-19 and the team’s decision to withdraw from the Australian Grand Prix, Formula 1 and the FIA convened a meeting of the other nine team principals on Thursday evening. Those discussions concluded with a majority view of the teams that the race should not go ahead. Formula 1 and the FIA, with the full support of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) have therefore taken the decision that all Formula 1 activity for the Australian Grand Prix is cancelled. . We appreciate this is very disappointing news for the thousands of fans due to attend the race and all ticket holders will receive a full refund and a further announcement will be communicated in due course. . All parties took into consideration the huge efforts of the AGPC, Motorsport Australia, staff and volunteers to stage the opening round of the 2020 FIA Formula One World Championship in Melbourne, however concluded that the safety of all members of the Formula 1 family and the wider community, as well as the fairness of the competition take priority.

Thats funny they say the virus cannot live in warm temps. I am not saying it can't but some people in the news say so. So who's in charge here?.

They're transitioning in to fall in the southern hemisphere. That's when flu season picks up here in the north. The Earth's got opposing seasons ya know.

It's not about republic or democrat.

What I see is about creating and preparing for things like this. With fractured seperated health care system its very difficult to stockpile necessities and be prepared. Theres very little manufacturing of IV bags, medicine and simple supplies in America, they mostly come from China and South America. Without a unified system its up to each individual hospital to stockpile and it has to make economic sense for each business to do that.... A unified system can stockpile at a national scale....

For those not interested in FAKE NEWS and other things heres a really in depth interview about with an expert. My favourite part of this is when he rebukes Joes tendencies to look for a magic pill with super health properties...
