So AF has gone from 214 to 24 for 2017. What do you guys think? I say that "1" makes a comeback on his number plates at some point....most likely by itself though?

He's gonna be an animal. A perfect season animal. And a 40th to first animal.... Stamp it.

So does this mean Metty doesn't plan on coming back to U.S. racing any time soon? Bummer for that, I always loved watching him ride. Stoked on this number for Austin, he should do well with it.

Would be awesome to see him back in the states. I remember that YOT team, Andrew McFarlane #124 R.I.P was his teammate. I will never forget the day at Southwick, he was at Honda at this point and killing it that day. Leading with maybe 6 corners to go and he runs out of gas. I believe it was dungey that capitalized on his bad luck that race. Was gutted for him that day, was always a fan of his and wanted to see him get that win.
About that boost mobile yamaha team, didn't they have a #122 in there with them? Pretty sure carpenter ran that number on Kawasaki, but can't remember if he was on that team with that number or if it was someone else. ..or maybe it was just metty and McFarlane. Anyone remember?

All it means is he didn't score enough points to keep it.

I remember watching him in the MEC amateur all-stars and thinking "holy shit, he's gonna be a force".

I tried to score one of his rookie front number plates from the USGP at Glen Helen, but his mechanic wasn't digging me. It would have been a cool souvenir.

The only set back that I could see in the future for Forkner is how he will have to adapt his riding style when he has his growth spurt. He is a really small dude.

121 was Branden Jesseman and 122 was Matt walker that year, all on the same team.
