have you guys seen his last Instagram Video. OMG what these kids are doing these days is blowing my mind. They keep pushing the bar higher and higher every year on what is possible on a MX bike. Cannot wait to see him at Hangtown.

What is Instagram?

Why not at least post a link to this video to go along with the commentary? That would make sense, wouldn't it?

Austin has always had bmx/ scooter talent. However, I wonder how much his employer knows about his extra curricular activities. They like to prtect their investment. Remember Herlings' ride on an 85 fairly recently?

Doesn't Cole Seeley train on a bmx? I don't think Payton would have a problem with Forkner doing the same

Thats part of the reason I like those kind of riders.

Training on a BMX and pulling backflips are not the same thing.

I never understood the scooter hate, I rode one growing up and got pretty good on it, what's the issue people have with them? I ride bmx for the most part now, but every now and then I like to bust the scooter out and have some fun!

I see a damn decent scrub there, and for a kid, that is very impressive.

But there's a but. Am I the only person watching that thinking that wasn't even close to as crazy as some things we've seen from Stewart, Herlings, Roczen, etc. ? I've seen those guys dragging their exhausts and side panels. Some of the well established professional racers make that scrub look like amateur hour. Oh, wait...

I'm not busting on Forkner here at all. That kid is impressive. Just seems like maybe some of you guys are shocked and awed too easily?

The thing that really blows my mind about that scrub is that he manages to lift the back tire kind of up and sideways off the dirt like he's intentionally throwing it to keep the peg off the ground. Pretty wild stuff

I see that and I think that's the essence of a scrub.

He is balancing inertia and riding "through" the jump face. Still, he's pretty high above that jump relative to some of the crazy stuff that has been captured in video and still images in the past 5 to 10 years. You only need 2/3 or 3/4 of a jump face if you hit it with enough speed.

Again, not crapping on Forkner, he is amazing. I am just not as blown away by that video as I am by stuff like these:

Herlings:

Stewart

To me it looks like he got lucky. We've seen so many crashes where guy's foot gets yanked and it throws them off balance. But it looks good.
