My guess would be with all the cops swooping in (like 12 cars and 2 helicopters) he thought they would get to him before he would get away and didn't want to risk getting sued by this dirtball for assault.

It was on the news tonight,guy on the bike was a vet,and a bunch of people including Kawasaki and a dealer replaced his bike,merica

Why didn't that cop shoot him in the face? he was 2ft and one bullet from ending the situation and any future situations with this Loser.

Why would he leave the truck behind for a bike? Easier getaway perhaps?

That's what I was thinking. Getting away would be easier on a bike. Plus, some places the chase policies change if you're on a bike. Too bad that guy didn't get a severe beating by the guy on the bike.

If the guy on the bike were quick thinking, he should have pulled the key out of his bike and went and jumped in the guys truck and locked the doors. Lol. No getaway vehicle then.

If some asshat would have pulled me off my bike in traffic like that, I'm afraid the construction worker/farm boy in me would have treated him like a stupid piece of beef. He'd have been eating asphalt pretty quickly. But then again who knows.
