Another instance of how their broadcast strategy makes no sense at all. Sports are literally the last bit of appointment TV that exists and can't be experienced the same way on DVR...but yea, let's tape delay a live sporting event, that sounds like a great way to go about this...

Oh! and make sure we don't allow customers with cable subscriptions to watch on our much promoted streaming platform - that would make way too much sense...

Guess I'll catch it on Sunday morning and lose all of the engagement in chat/live timing/social/etc. you get when watching live, but at least I won't have to watch the hours of commercials.
