Not the footpeg deep ruts covering every inch of the track we see today. I dont know whether 4 strokes or track prep did it, but watching a race 15 years ago i think "man that looks like a blast!" To in 2017, where you couldn't pay me to go ride one of the National tracks in the shape its in on race day.

it's so amazing that art was that good at mx commentary.....it's rare to get a color guy that doesn't sound aloof to their covered sport.
you could feel art's passion and excitement- and that was contagious.
hell it may have played a roll in capturing me as a kid when i was just channel flipping and came onto motocross.....it was during that 93 season where mcgrath reeled em off, i didn't really know about the sport before t hen.
Art was cool, the battle between Jeremy, RC, and David was very cool.
Bar to bar we go! Yeah that was the best…
I cant post the link I want, Art Eckman Celebrating 50 years.
I loved the Honda Flashbacks too where they’d have a short 5 minute segment of a previous year’s race at that track. Wish they’d bring that back.
And the race mechanic interviews during the race. They basically lived together on the road especially during the Nationals. So they knew more of what there riding was capable of on race day.
There's a video titled 50 years of Art Eckman on page 1, is that the same one you're trying to post?
