Run your levers higher and go with thicker grips. Those two things eliminated arm pump for me completely.
What kind of grips you running?

I’ve worn a long sleeved compression base layer to ride in before and it gave me really bad armpump. the best thing I’ve ever done to relieve armpump was to sell my 450 and get back on a 250 smoker Tongue on a serious note though drinking pure beetroot juice on ride days and stretching before each moto really helped when I was struggling with armpump.

Bro's, forget your fancy riding gear.. You need to be wearing a nice, tight yoga leotard to eliminate all these pump issues.

My wife let me buy a new bike this year. I now rub her feet every night...that's why I have arm pump.

Look into a tiger tail. They're cheap off of Amazon. Have someone roll your forearms before riding. My wife (who is a physical therapist) recommended this and will typically roll me before riding. It really seems to have helped a lot.

Daily Apple Cider Vinegar will keep your blood flowing and arteries clear. Stay away from chlorinated fluoridated water, distilled or negative PH water is best. Brush your teeth with baking soda and put some under your tongue and let it absorb. No aluminum based deodorants. Baby aspirin daily.
Day before the race drink a gallon of distilled water until you piss clear, take calcium/magnesium/zinc.
Day of the race start with a banana and anti inflammatory, naproxen sodium.

Rode a 1hr 10 minute Torcs scramble at almost 60 years old Sunday in Lockhart, 1st ride in 7 months, never work out. Over 30 log crossings, 80% virgin technical enduro with 20% a dusty MX course on a street legal gentle giant 480. I finished and lots didn't. Shook my arms when I could to keep from cramping. On the edge of arm pump most of the ride, backed down just enough to keep it from getting worse. Black's BBQ (beef ribs!) after the race. Great times.

Will gloves that are too tight have any effect on arm pump?

Arm pump is a hydrolic problem. Literally an erection of the forearm.
Blood enters through stout arteries and can't leave through the weaker collapsed veins.
You got an erection problem boy.

I used to get arm pump so bad Id have riger mortis amd be holding the throttle wide open unable to let go.

Play riding, I could ride my ass off at a much higher level. Come race time, id get nervous and start playing with the clutch non stop and get pumped up so bad I was useless on the bike.

One day something clicked in my head on the line. I kinda thought, who cares I already know whats gonna happen. May as well just ride as fast as I can and have fun till then. Never got it. Didnt for years after. Then i started weighifting... and flushed all that progress down the toilet.

True arm pump is a compartment syndrome issue. Many on here are describing things that work for arm fatigue, but not actual arm pump. Arm pump is when the muscle starts to swell from being used, and the swelling is limited/contained by the fascia which is surrounding the muscles. This constriction then cuts off the blood and/or nerve supply, leaving very little strength left. Fascia is inelastic - you can't stretch it - at least very much. It can be expanded slightly with VERY vigorous soft tissue work just prior to riding. For true arm pump, you can do two things: one, change your technique to where you only grip the bars VERY lightly, thus never working them hard enough for them to swell. This is obviously ideal, but easier said than done. Two - surgery to open up the fascia and allow the muscles to swell naturally without constriction.
Weight lifting will increase the size of the muscles, and just make your arms pump up even more quickly.

Look into Beta Alanine. Its a precursor to carnosine which works as a buffer in the muscle. Buffer = less acidic environment = less fatigue. Its cheap. Best bet is taking it throughout the day to fully saturate the muscles, about 3-6 grams a day for a month can increase carnosine levels over 80%.

Lactic acid is a dilator (opposite of constrictor).

Constriction occurs w/compartment syndrome and acute arm pump.

Compression clothing makes arm pump worse, not better. It squeezes the muscles thus adding to resistance in moving the muscles, which naturally pumps them up more and faster. Compression gear would do the same thing that the muscle fascia naturally does when you get arm pump. It gets tight and restricts movement of the muscles.

I don't get arm pump anymore, although I do get hand pump where my hands get tight. But forearms are good to go.
