Ok, so to obtain your 250SX lisence you have to qualify for (3) night programs at a minimum of 3 separate AMSOIL Arenacross Events. My question is, if a rider qualifies for the night show but chooses not race that night, will the racer who missed qualifying by one spot be allowed to race the night program?

I ask this because I'll be attemping to get my SX lisence by qualifying for AX night shows but I do not plan on racing if I qualifying into the night program. I understand that it's a dick move but the risk vs. reward for me isn't there to race in AX. I work a full-time job to support myself and I am not young relatively speaking. Quailifying for AX is sketchy enough. I hope that the guys who actually want to race the night program get in if someone like me chooses not to race.

If you don't qualify based on time, you don't get the Road to SX point. Alternates can race, but no Road to SX point. Far as I know, as long as you qualify based on your time, you get the point. Hope that helps.

Check Vicki Golden's AX races. I think she may have had the same idea you do.

If AX is too risky why do you want to race SX?

Because SX is a bigger accomplishment. Thus making the risk vs reward worth it in his eyes, one would assume.

i think if you want to qualify for mains in sx, arenacross racing will help you get ready for LCQs,

i would highly doubt the injury rate for arenacross is more than supercross

I don't see how they can make somebody race, that will be difficult to enforce. Although I seem to remember VG just riding around in a heat race at one event.

I don't see why he wouldn't get the point without racing he would of earned it... He could have a sore wrist or
something & decided to sit the race out, bike problems, etc....

Your spot on Tpog. AX doesn't appeal to me these days like it once had. It was great when they held the races in the months leading up to SX. Having both seasons at the same time never made much sense to me.
