Repeater stakes before the repeater is stapled on and all the stakes are trimmed even with the top of the banner.

Those are to staple all the wonderful advertising banners on to.

Yup. Track crew lines the entire track with the wooden stakes then staples the banners to them. All the way around the track. Being on track crew was cool but let’s just say pounding the stakes in the ground kinda sucked. Especially at the harder packed tracks laughing

At Mt Morris couple years ago Kyle Regal landed on one and it went damn near through him, they were capping them for quite awhile, hope they do the same here!! Got to spend couple days in the hospital with him

Who else remembers tracks lined with wooden picket snow fence?

Usually about 50% of the pickets were broken at the top, or should I say spears.
