I doubt many of todays pros could go as fast as Brownie on a 30 year old 125 round a blue groove 90s track.

I was watching that and wondering how they would compare at the speeds they were riding yesterday to the guys back In their prime like RJ, Stanton, Omara etc. for sure the style has changed since then

Thank you for posting that.

Makes me wonder why four-stokes exist.

Damn, seed that track with some grass and let it grow a few months and that just may be the perfect moto track! Usually elevation changes aren’t easy for me to see on these types of videos but this was freaking awesome.

So funny mute the sound and they look like they are going slow. Sure miss the 2 stroke sound. But no, nowhere near as fast and the tracks are not the same either.

Four strokes would have advantage going up the hills. Out pull 125 two stroke.

That was a great watch!
Brown is a badass on that 89 CR 125!
I also loved that track!

If four strokes were never re-introduced, do you think we'd all still be riding 1999 2-strokes?
I would sure hope so 🤞🏻

Do you think a 65cc four stroke could out pull a 125cc two stroke??? Give the 2 strokes the same advantage the 4 strokes have and see how it plays out....

I agree, but the 500s that Johnny O chased down and passed at the MXDN could pull him up the hills, also.

But to me, it’s more exiting to watch guys riding a 125 WFO all the way around the track than any four stroke race I’ve seen. Who cares at they are a few seconds a lap slower, it’s all relative.

I bet the racing would be tighter as well because there wouldn’t be a huge hp disparity like the factory and privateers have. There’s only so much power you can keep pulling out of those and you also can’t customize power delivery and mapping like the new four strokes so it’s more of the rider and not so much the bike.
