With F1 removing grid girls and a petition now on to get rid of the ring girls in the UFC, are Monster girls going to be targeted next?

What a tragedy.

Many were surprised that the Miss Supercross role ended without notice (to the public) just as this SX season kicked off but this move may now explain the removal of the Miss Supercross position with podium and 30 sec girl positions next to hit the chopping block...

To be fair, they are pretty much useless.

It doesnt make or break it to me, but apparently to a small minority it made a big difference. But hey we can throw in more Weston Pieck ads and MORE Slayground 2.

When I go to large national events I expect to see spokes people touting whatever products they're paid to. Do I expect them to be women all the time ... no. That being said I'm not against an attractive female doing that job. Referencing the Grid Girls, I've never seen them in un flattering apparel. Monster goes for the leather slut look. Big deal. As for the "if it was your daughter" bullshit, guess what sport, she's over 18 and is making her own decisions, get over it !

To further that. Those are modeling jobs for those women, those jobs are no longer available. F1, Supercross, motocross, etc. are primarly attended and watched by men. That is who they should be marketing to. I for one enjoyed the pit lane girls and also enjoy the monster girls, those women are beautiful and sexy. The lack of the pretty women in those roles will not stop me from watching, attending, and enjoying the events but it does detract from the overall experience.
For those of you that are concerned about your wives or kids seeing these women, what the hell do you do when you go to the beach? Put blindfolds on your wives and children?

The 30 second board should be held by a chubby dude with a beard and too tight pants.

I'm cool with Juliana and really miss Mayra Tinajero from RaceDay Live....she was awesome....but the girls on the podium is something I could do without. They just stare there blankly smiling and it's just weird looking sometimes. I almost wish they would say hey to the riders or congratulate them or just something other than blankly stare and smile. It serves no purpose and just seems really forced.

Lol. Right. And a small 30 second card.

Heck, at least they properly turned the card sideways back then. Now they just sorta leave without turning it.

Title made me think of that song from the Clash:
Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go, there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double

Double trouble. Nothing wrong with that!

I've always thought what monster/FIM/Feld or who ever the decision making responsibilities falls on has pretty much cheapened the female sex appeal at these supercross races, personally thought it was just low class.

Compare the image of the monster girl in fake black leather cheerleader outfit to the girls in the outdoor nationals. Now who would you like to jump on the back of the bike and go down to the creek and do some "fishin"? Rest my case.

Pretty stupid if you ask me. They are good looking girls who are models trying to build their portfolios. That is how they conduct business. A lot of them have to do these types of events hoping to move up the chain or get "discovered."

It's probably a fun work atmosphere and most of them really seem to enjoy it. Anyone here who thinks they're not an attraction/fan favorite at an event is 100% wrong. These girls are approached and asked to take photographs with fans more than any of the 5th through non qualifying riders.

if the PC-SJW have their way, there will only be gender neutral clothing and all "female" and "male" specific clothing, jobs, titles, etc. will go the way of the dodo.
