My brother is a lifer in the hospitality/restaurant industry (major corp, at street level) and they're so screwed. Losing their asses.

Only bright spot for his staff has been that people are tipping at a greater percentage, so his servers are doing well with half the tables.

Hotels are being crushed
Car rentals are being crushed

Pretty much anything in the tourism business (I live in the Orlando/Space Coast area) is being crushed....the tshirt/souvenir shops, just so many....
Texas is booming right now.

I wouldn’t want to own an airline, bar or a movie theatre right now that’s not sure.

No pitbikes in stock
No 2 strokes on the usual buy and sell sites or in showrooms that I know of
Used bike market is light right now, not many good deals that haven’t been bought up

KEEP IT COMIN!

Been helping a good friend look for a used KTM 250/300 XC/XCW here in the Central Texas area and NOTHING. Tons of SXF's and a few XCF'S, but 250 and 300 2-strokes..forget it. Great for sellers, not too good for buyers. Ha!
My bud is probably going to end up with a 4-stroke, which is not his 1st or 2nd choice.

These are new, and new leftovers, but there are probably a dozen of them sitting on the floor. Orange is the only brand not selling here

Heard an employee at our local bicycle shop say they did 600k in bicycle sales in May.

Going to keep my eyes peeled for a new MTB for sure

I’ve received 3 unsolicited and very tempting offers on my KX500.

It’s a crazy time.

I think it also has to do with the CARES act giving the ones on unemployment that extra 600 a week to supplement. That’s a usual rate of pay in its own right for a lot of people around here so an extra 2400 a month? Seems like a pretty decent amount for budgeting some financed toys.

I just hope all this spending doesn’t backfire when the economy needs to correct itself. Well actually I’d like to buy a house this year so let’s see what happens....

People are not financing on unemployment. The people with good jobs that generally have disposable income are still employed. They are the ones spending money. Anything to do with outdoor activities and sports/sporting goods is selling like hotcakes. Gun stores are picked bare. I tried to buy a Concept2 a while back. New ones not available and used ones were selling for more than MSRP.

Put off buying a new YZ125 earlier in the pandemic, went to Utah for a month, and came back to see that none are in my area now. Found a YZ250 online Thursday at Niehaus Cycles in Litchfield, instead.

Every dealer I've talked to over the last few weeks has said that their sales and maintenance are booming. But if you want a new bike get it soon, because sounds 2021 stuff won't come at the same time as usual. September, maybe?

I closed my brick and mortar shop at the start of the year and moved completely to online. Although I was super bummed, It was the best possible move. I’ve had record sales these past couple of months.

what Do used E mountain bikes go for? I would love to have one!
The E-bike racing that they are Doing at the GNCC races looks so fun. But a new one isn't in my budget.
Anybody seen any used pricing?

We have been slammed Busy and working hard just to keep up with shipping the orders. We ship most orders Priority Mail that normally takes 2-3 days nation wide and for about the last 2 months the in transit time was been takin several days longer and international 2-3 times longer.

We have been selling the Older models like crazy too! IMO people have been dusting off the bikes that were sitting in the corner of their garage and restoring them.

Right now We Are completely sold out of Red, Blue, White 17-20 std CRF450 kits and are close to selling out of the KX450 Y kits as well but will be completely restocked soon.

I think the average family has a bucket of money for fun: travel, Disneyland, toys.

Since people can't travel, that new moto/ boat/ pool/ SxS payment doesn't seem bad. Bicycles make sense as most gyms closed.

I've never sen more guys offroading here in Arizona, can't find used diesel trucks, boats, and my buddies at dealers are crushing. This seems to be the biggest shot in the arm for the motocross industry, and "outdoor" in general.

My buddy in SoCal says the tracks have never been more packed, now is the time to sell your used toy! Haha
