Serious question here, how many different boot colorways can a company like aplinestar, fox, sidi, etc..be selling. I have took notice to how many special edition boots i've seen on the market, and wonder how each compnay can create sales. I wish I had the extra cash laying around to pick up a new set of boots every 6 months, but i think the reality for most non-sponsored riders is we ride boots till the grave.
I say "LE" because they have only a few "normal" colorways, especially with their Tech 10 boots. I think the only new for 2018 non LE Tech 10 boot is the one i bought a few months ago(orange/flo/blue).
Now some on these were rollovers from last year, but they are still pumping out new boots like the black/goldsh brown ones that recently came out.
But you have to remember that lots of the boots on Alpinestars site are old. I think you can find the Tomac replicas on the site but good luck with actually finding a set.
Edit: The Indianapolis boot is still on their site but it is sold out, same with the Tomac boots.
The Shop
After you frame something and you're off work hobbling around on crutches, would you pay $400 to be healed up again? Then the better boots would've been worth it.
I agree though that $600 is ridiculous. look at some TCX, forma, or Fly sectors to find something black and white and affordable with a hinge and hyper-extension stops.
I've tried them all on and they suck compared to the Jetts
Costs me 75-100 a year to have new high end boots.
Just got these TLD Tech 7’s
Pit Row
So technically I can have most of their color ways just by changing panels.
Cant wait to burn out these tech 10s and then go back to gaernes
