What kind of shape are the clutch, piston, rings, cam and valves in?
Do they have the stock pipe?

Probably what he still owes, even though it’s only worth $5500 at most now. Poor zukes don’t hold their value

I've stood in that warehouse so many damn times! Went there one day , found this.....bought it for $3500.00 , and sold it for $4500.00 2 months later. God damn it.....I wish I wouldn't have sold it! Anyways , yeah that annex building has a lot of cool bikes that roll through there. Tons of magazine shoot / test bikes and so forth. I saw a 2016 Kawi 450 in there that must of had about $25,000 dropped into it.

That's quite a deal. Would be good to know how many hours are on it. Buying a used Alta means there's very little concern over how the bike was maintained. No air and oil changes means no questionable top (or bottom) end to be concerned with and so far they seem to be holding up mechanically and electronically.

For anyone on the fence about buying an Alta, this could be a great deal depending on how many hours are on it.

I think the Alta's are badass and I'd love to have one. My only minor complaint is the frame reminds of something we might see on a Honda CRF230, not a full MX bike. I'm sure they are strong enough, just a cosmetic issue. I know, people will bitch about anything.....sorry

let's all not forget affordability of something at $9k is a lot different nowadays when minimum wage is $15/hour for a lot of people.

Yea, that is painful to read. Someone was definitely not paying attention in literature and grammar class.

Hey, say what you will about the exclamation points (it was painful for me, also), but Motosport Hillsborough is an excellent dealership that has been helping Pac NW motocross racers live their dreams for a long, long time. They've had a hand in helping the careers of Weston Peick, Daniel Blair, the late Tiger Lacey and countless others. The owner, Scott Russell, is one of the most hardcore fans of the sport that I've ever known and I've known quite a few. Scott is also possibly the hardest working dealer in the sport...as evidenced by the massive number of bikes he sells and the high % of return customers.

I had an opportunity to hang out and observe their way of doing business and they seem to bend over backwards to do right by the customer. You know how you can tell that I like them?!? Because I'm not up their ass about the excessive exclamation points! Even though I should be!

It may also be because that Alta is a badass bike! One I would love to own! I'm thinking about calling them, but I'd better not! Not liquid enough at the moment! This looks like a Trump tweet, now!

R.I.P. Tiger Lacey...we miss you, buddy

I saw one still in the crate in their showroom one day. Maybe this is it.
He still has the one in the crate on the showroom. Also a 1997 CR250 in the crate on the showroom. Scott is a great dude and gives back a ton to the sport. anyone thats ever in town should swing by. He has the Weston Peick bikes from 2014 when i was his mechanic hanging in the showroom in addition tn tons of other bikes, including a Pastrana 125, an Antunez 125 and tons of older stuff that will make you drool!
