I see the advanteges of the handle, the 4 gal cap with weight being an issue as I am now 43. Just wondering who has used them and how they differ from the original cans we all have used for ever. Thanks for the opinions.

I got one, almost everything about it is better/easier than old style cans. The vent especially, the little pop on vent cap on my old can got lost, this one can't be lost. You don't have to raise the can so high to start pouring gas. It's a heck of alot smaller and doesn't seem to want to fall over in the truck like the old style too

They fit inside the bike stand with the stand upside down, also the back edge is used as a grip. I don't have a bed liner but I think it's designed to go along with the corrugation of bed liners

The cops in my area will pull over any trailer, truck, donkey if caught with a gas can like this. Huge fine. Recently a whole line of lawn mower service trucks & trailers were on the side of the road like a remake of the movie Convoy. Why? Non environmentally friendly gas cans. Impounded the mowers and trailers!

That's really odd when the Safety Cans are self closing and and they are approved by UL, OSHA and the National Fire Protection Administration. No plastic race jug carries any of those approvals.

I'd really like to see the law that backs up what you say they are doing in your area.

If you ever get a chance to use the Matrix Concepts products you may have a more favorable opinion. Everything from the mat's, stands, gas cans, tie downs, etc are top quality and trick. After buying the stand I got hooked on their stuff. Can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Have their M2 Worx stand. Not impressed. Had only one week and aluminum supports are loose and can' be tightened. The grapphics and the ABS frame material at the top of the stand gouge up verry easily. Expected more from this cool looking stand.

Define "non environmentally friendly". What is unfriendly about that can?

Yeah, let's see the law they are quoting.

Damn I am glad I live in AZ.

Parts Unlimited carries Matrix products, but it doesn't carry this one.

for what ever reason, Parts Unlimited does not carry ANY gas cans.

These are very cool.
