You know I'm just not understanding the fasination with DFI for 2 strokes. Unlike 4 strokes ,2 strokes run great on carbs. The whole appeal of the 2 stroke is its simplicity.

Yea, it's gimmicky, just like 4 strokes in general.

Carbs atomize fuel better than injectors, but you tell a moto-head that and you lose them at the word "atomize".
