Looks like I'm going to have to travel to get a deal. I've never bought a new bike because I know its not a financially sound decision, but I'm finally in a place where I have/am working my butt off and I can splurge a little but...It's so frustrating...

I have 2 dealers that are both an hour from me. One dealer has literally said point blank they don't give a shit about bike sales because they are a high volume side x side dealer, so I'm not even going to go there. A couple weeks ago I made the 2hr round trip to see if they had any deals on 18's or if the 19's had hit the floor at the other dealer. They had one 18 350xcf in stock. Their best price...$9,300 PLUS all the normal fees! It was right at 10k for an 2018 with the 19's hitting the floor. So seeing this thread made me think screw it I might just get a 19 then. Call them just now, Dealer: "No we don't have any 19's yet, but any day now." Me: "Do you have the 18 still in stock? Can you deal on it with the 19's hitting the floor?" Dealer: "Come on in we'll work you a good deal on it"

I'm not driving 2+ hrs again to hear that bs 10k for a leftover bike. Seeing MSRP on a new one is $10,499 I don't see anyway of them coming close to those prices above on a 2019.
I’m going to drive from LA or Oregon because I still have and Oregon ID for no sales tax. The dealer is be far the best price I’ve heard. Power Motorsports if anyone is looking.

How are your batteries on the 2019s?

Anyone has orange plastics available yet?

The 2019 battery is the same as the 2018 as far as I know.

It was the 2017 and older that had a bad reputation.

Hey guys, going to grab my 350 at the end of the week. Finally got my 250 sold!

Is there skid plate tabs welded on the new bike, front and back?

Anything you guys have needed for the bike?

Thoughts on suspension so far?

If the 19 is anything like the 18 you may want to invest in a vortex or re-mapping. My 18 was way off. I could reliably kill the bike with too much throttle input - on the track, not just on the stand. I tried adjusting the TPS with a little luck. The ultimate fix for me was a vortex ecu.

This is my 19 350xcf right after installng the decal works backgrounds. I have since added about 10 hrs and I have raced two harescrambles. I love it! I swapped to a 52 sprocket, ktm bark busters and cut 1" off each side of the bars. Oh and added a cv4 2.0 radiator cap. Smooth, fast and handles great.

Will that tank fit on the 19' 350 sx-f? thanks

It should it's the stock xc-f tank
Thanks, have you figured out yet how many miles you are getting to a full tank? Reason I'm asking I have a new 450 sx-f and looking at larger tank options to make a 50 mile loop at Desert 100 here in Washington State and for more range trail riding.

You guys liking the stock gearing? What is on the 19s?
I just bought one about a month ago. Came off a 18 YZ450F, I like the bike so far! I had a couple issues with it but nothing major. Replaced a shift shaft seal and I think I broke the mid pipe spring this past weekend. Washed the bike and noticed it wasnt there. Coming from a 450 Id like a little more bottom end but the bike has plenty of power. As far as skid plate and plastics, I haven't seen anything from acerbis or cycra yet. Could probably use a different gearing set up but thats personal preference.

That's weird you mentioned that. The spring from my header to the exhaust port has broken 2 times now. At first I thought maybe it just was never installed from the factory so I replaced it, well a few hours later and my new one just snapped off.

Going to just order an aftermarket system and see if it's just the shape of the stock one.

I mostly race MX, occasionally off-road. Currently have a ‘16 450 SXF (with AER) and a ‘16.5 250 SXF. Should I kick the 450 habit and go 350? I can ride the shit out of the 250, but never raced it. Feel like I need the 450 to be competitive. BTW I’m 5’10” 180-185 lbs.
I have both a 17 350 SXF and the 18 450 SXF.

While I love the 350, the 450 is the go to motorcycle for me, because of the better low end power. I should prob sell the 350, it has less than 10 hours.

No, but I have done a two hour race, 35 miles roughly and used about a 1/2 tank. Mostly woods with a few open sections.

The stock gearing is 13 50 and I put a 52 on to tighten the gears in the woods. I think Ktm has skid plate to mount to the stock brackets. I really like the traction control, in slick muddy sections it just goes with very little drama. I ride with map 1 and the traction control on.
I raced a 2017 300xc last year and I think I like the 350 better. I had a rekluse on the 300 and no rekluse so far on the 350 so I have stalled a time or two.

Thanks for the info! Very excited to ride mine tomorrow. I’m going to do some off-road riding at my favorite zone on southern Oregon that is flowing and pretty fast. Great place to get my base settings down.

I just picked up a new 2019 350 and its by far one of the best bikes I've ever owned. Could possibly be a "top 3" bike in my book and I've been racing and riding since 1975. The bike has a perfect power-band and chasis. gearing is spot on and I owned an 18 350 Husky. Suspension could use a little work but other than that it's worth the investment over any of the past bikes, it's that good!
