I'm looking for a way to try and condition my forearms for the early season motos. I usually suffer pretty bad from arm pump for the first month or so of riding. Has anyone seen or tried one of these?

The Shop
Concept Rowers are pretty darn popular amongst the moto crowd.
There's a bit of info out there on how they work as a great training tool for motocross riders.

This Racer X Virtual Trainer page has a list of workouts for riders.

Pit Row
But I am wondering how well it works also.
Or a cock ring pain device. Wtf is that thing supposed to do? Create so much pain you forget about the Arm pump?
I have some C clamps in the garage. Would those suffice?
Won't get arm pump, and also ideal for anyone with past right wrist injuries.
Hurts so good. Also with great rowing technique it really feels like you rode that day. Like that first ride after a long winter. Sore AF.
If ever in doubt attach the following four letters NCBI to the front of any google search to find RESEARCH on the topic.
The 4 Arm Strong is so you can do ART (active release technique) on yourself.
Here's my advice and what I do, go buy a lacrosse ball for $2.50, go on Youtube and look at
videos of forearm myofascial release or forearm trigger point therapy. It changed my life.
Do it before riding, inbetween motos if needed and at night. Found my root problem was my shoulder, not my forearm actually.
I perform the release with lacrosse ball in my scapula area and it's heaven when you hit the muscle that twitches
20 times and releases all the tension in your entire arm.
There's a whole science to this, but it's simple really. Research and stay away from Orthopedic Surgeons.
