Anyone catch Anderson hook in his holeshot device with his boot while braking?

I noticed that tonight lol I’ve seen Kenny and Zacho do the same, but it’s still a pretty cool little trick!

Lots of guys do it. It's way easier than having the rider plus a couple of their team guys do it on the gate. Yes, their suspension is that stiff.

Kenny started doing it in his Suzuki days, Think they showed it on every outdoor broadcast the year he dominated.

Marvin with his long ass legs has had it down for some time as well

Kenny does it the smoothest. He makes it look so easy. I think they even made the button a little smoother/More blunt so it would not catch on the back of his boot.

When were these introduced? Late 00s?

I think it was around 2003-2004, when Factory Yamaha started doing it with a hook and a slot cut into the fork guard itself?

Back when I was still racing, I would reach over and slap the button with my left hand while braking with the right. Always seemed pretty easy to do.

Can't imagine that move would be easy with SX suspension though.

I can’t wait for the Pro Taper SELA to come out.
