Just picked up this Multi-Use Recreation Vehicle this weekend. After getting an enclosed trailer last year and having my 3 yr old son and now a baby girl on the way I had to get something more family friendly. Seems dumb to some people to buy a toy hauler while on the mend from my broken TIB/FIB but they don't understand us moto dudes. Just wanted to see if anyone else on here had a Roadmaster Campmaster Toy Hauler.

Thanks,

My wife and I both ride/race and spend 25 or more weekends in the camper. We started with a work and play very similar to what you have and loved it. It led us to upgrading two years ago to a Vengeance 29V that we took on a cross country trip this past summer. After it got damaged, we decided to do one more upgrade to this. We have 27 races on our schedule this year so it will get used for sure.

I hope you are able to get out and enjoy your time at the races with your new rig, Being at the track all weekend is the best!

Mine's just a straight travel trailer, toys stay in the bed of the truck. Smile

Sweet rigs, though. There are times when I'm wishing for a garage on the back of mine.

I've got the '20 foot model ... stout as hell.

Keep the hinges greased on the ramp and don't let your little ones put pebbles in the little opening by the ramp cables.

I had one for 5 years. Wife wanted a bigger toy hauler so we got rid of it for a KZ Sportster 30+ model. Worst decision ever!! Wish I would have never sold it. New one is a piece of shit, MURV is built solid, tows great, and did everything I wanted. Wife scored a ZERO on that one!!

It's a '14, and, um...I have no idea. I just know it's a refill about every three hours when I'm on the road. I'd guess 9-ish?

Sleeps 2 kids and 2 adults comfortably. Pull down full size queen and 2 full beds/couches. If it’s me and my son we can leave the bikes inside and sleep.
It’s a 2016 and paid 9k for it a few months ago.

That's a perfect size for high mileage RVing. 1 or 2 people. We've talked about downsizing because we want to go a little farther and be able to get a spot easier. Keystone makes a nice 22ft with a king bed.

One time in my 2013 Tundra towing a 29ft lightweight toyhauler up the Grapevine I reset the gas calculator to see what I was getting. It told me I was getting ZERO mpg!

Hate to bum you V8 owners out but with the MURV on the back of my 12' 6.7 Cummins (deleted) I was averaging 14mpg at 70 mph. ZERO mpg I actually LOL'd

Here's mine. 2019 Forest River Salem FSX. 3200 lbs. I pull it with my 2016 Colorado, and get about 10-10.5 mpg at 70 mph, however I feel more comfortable at 65 mph, where it gets 11-11.5.

A crappy pic of my old one. It was built for one of the owners of Weekend Warrior in 07. 45 foot in length and 8 foot ceiling in the living area with a 17 foot enclosed garage. My 5 seat sand car fit perfect in it. It was to much for the F-250 so I traded it in on a diesel pusher. The pic doesn’t do it justice.

What’s your day to day mpg?
Diesels make zero sense unless you tow or haul quite a bit. The math very rarely goes in favor of diesel.

Is that the 3.5 eboost? If so, how well does the truck tow that?

2.7 ecoboost.
Tows fine. Fuel mileage ranges between 7-9 miles per gallon which seems about average for gas. But I average 21-23 mpg Monday through Friday.

Eventually I want to have all the decals removed off our trailer and have it painted solid silver. White is such a bad color for traveling long travels it shows everything. Nice set up.

How much sway did that beast give you? Looks scary to pull....
