It's not a collarbone. His arm was not outstretched when he fell. The collarbone breaks when some one falls with their arm stretched out, where the force travels up through the arm to the collarbone that then breaks.
I've broken both, neither with an outstretched arm.

What? This is not true at all. I've fractured my right one and shattered my left one , in two different wrecks. Neither one did I have my arm extended.

Where the ef do you guys come up with this stuff?
