On really beat up plastic you can wet sand with 2000 grit and buff out. The trick is using the right pad, speed and pressure. There's lots of you tube videos. Wont need any top coats if done correctly and looks almost factory. Its more work but the results will last.
This and its hard to do, but you take a heat gun to it after and make it look like new.

Jeez you guys are big dealing it with all this stuff. Just try your wife (or mom's) Lemon Pledge, it works great. Honda dealer told me to use it 32 years ago and I still use it now. Works great on Black wheels on the pickup as well.

Looking for a polish myself...

As for wash I use Shout, dilute a bit with water - it's mega cheap and does and ourstiandjng job without fading or aging your plastics or frame.

Just about all the clapped out bikes you see for sale on CL that look so "clean" are covered in SC1. I use it, when you don't it looks like your bike ages a year over night.

Any drawbacks to SC1?
