Any luck cancelling MAVTV Plus?

I have tried, and tried, and tried, I cannot cancel or get anyone to answer any emails. There is no phone number to call and every link that says "cancel subscription" sends you back to the useless home page MAVTVPLUS.com.

This is crazy. I don't want two more free weeks. I don't want a promise how its going to get better. I want out. Does anybody here including Davey Coombs have a solution?

I just want to be done. and kill my recurring bill.

Crickets is all I hear.

Just to add to the dialog on this topic: I created my MAvTV+ account on a ROKU device. The day of the first national, it was not possible to create a user name/password on the website. Currently there is no way to cancel the subscription on the ROKU and I do not have a username / pw for the website, hence there is no apparent way to cancel, short of removing my CC# from the ROKU device, which could impact other subscriptions.

I have not yet decided to hit eject on the nationals, but I do plan to cancel as soon as they are over, so I see an upcoming problem.

Talk to your credit card provider about blocking them.

Has DC chimed in on any of these threads. Dude has been super active here but I haven’t seen him answer any issues about the crap product on mavtv.

I've attempted to contact them multiple times with no luck. There are no options or menus anywhere on either of their websites or app to cancel service. They've pretty much closed shop and have stolen everyone's money at this point. I'll have to contact my cc company to stop any further charges from them.

I managed to cancel after first weekend.

Through email I was being made to run round in circles, but they were helpful on Facebook chat.

Dont have fb. Im just calling the ba k Wednesday morning. Ill give them till then. I dont vare whos working on it. Customer service is customer service. If this were my job and we treated our customers like this, we'd be eating top ramen.

Go to mavtvplus.com to cancel your subscription now if you want before the weekend before it goes back into the free site that doesn’t offer the feature.

I just cacelled. Logged on at mavtvplus. Went to account, cancelled subscription. Just got an email verifying so.

I cancelled mine but only because it hasn’t been needed to watch the races. If they get things figured out and require the subscription I’ll happily resubscribe. Might be hard to believe but aside from making me pay for something they eventually offered for free I really don’t have any complaints about MavTV.

I emailed them like 20 times in a row and they finally canceled it today. Why pay when you can watch YouTube and it’s better anyway

Yep, this is the same thing I saw...when the site is free due to MAV not being able to support their app, there's no option to cancel. Then, sometime after the current race the site will no longer be free and the cancel option is there again.

Apparently, they do just as pizzpoor job of managing their website as they do with their streaming "service" app.

The fact that DC's not been around to support MAV is an indication they're in a deep hole and have no clue as to how their gonna get out. Sad.

They finally replied to me today and I was asking for my subscription to be extended at least a full month since they had offered the first four races for free anyway. They haven't responded yes or no yet, but it took more than a week for them to get back to me, yet I had to respond with the same information to three different automated emails.

My opinion is they bit off way more than they could chew for moto and then with the issues do not have the manpower to hand all the complaints. No excuse for it, but thats the reason as I see it.

I don’t get how they could step on their dick this hard. The only thing I can think is they simply don’t give a shit. It’s not like it’s a massive secret the amount of people watching MX from years past. Maybe they based what they needed to stream correctly off of their tractor pull numbers.

I logged in and clicked account then cancel, so at least that worked.
