No matter what you get you will wish you had done it sooner. I had mine done in May 2018 was riding in August. I've landed on it pretty good a few times and no worries. I weigh a lot more than you so I hit the ground harder. I'm also a lot older. Maybe more important is your PT facility for maximizing your recovery. Get set up with a sports rehab type facility. Some places just seem to want to get you to where you can get off the shitter and call it good. I told my doc and therapist I wanted to get back to riding and racing. Neither had a problem with it.

I'm interested in this thread. I'm only 45 but the doc has told me I'm ready for a full knee replacement. I've been bone on bone for years.

I turned 44 in June and had tkr on my left knee April 28th. Doubt it’s a Stryker. I’m definitely ready to get through recovery. I’m still using a cane most places except the house.

I had knee replacement late December 2021. I started riding March 26th, 2022. No issues at all. I've rode a lot since then and even bought a new bike 10 days ago. Total time from surgery to riding was 3 months and 1 week

Look into your insurance if you can get a kinetec, I had same problem and hired a kinetec and used it daily 4 hours, working on the range, everything adding 5° at it.

I am at 0 / 120-122 range for a while and its just at the edge pushing it to peddle my trainer street bicycle and I even tried sitting on my KTM was same way so not there yet. When it hit 120 PT said thats about as far as it can mechanically bend which is a lot less than my good knee.

120 to 130° is ok, that is my range too and I can ride a cycling bike/home trainer. You can't compare real joints with fake ones haha. I've two fake shoulders and they fixed the pain but the range of motion is limited going upwards.

Is the Stryker the Mako? 2 weeks out from shoulder surgery and thinking about doing my knee in fall. The Mako system is intriguing as it's custom made hardware.
