I had 15 yz250f, but rode 18 yz450f on test day and really enjoyed it in sand,(it seemed to turn easier but little more headshake)so now I really can't make up my mind if I should wait for 19yzf250 or go for 18 yzf450.

Would find a leftover 18 When the 19's hit the floors.
More than likely since last year was a pretty big update to them I imagine it will be minor tweaks this year

Not so sure, look at Honda, 2019 was not meant to be a lot of updates year, yet there are a lot of changes....so you might be surprised.

I work at a Yamaha dealer, we don’t have any of the promotional stuff on them yet, for what that’s worth
