So, aside from connected folks, have any of you seen any of the New FLY Formula helmets out in the hands of normal riders yet? I have been waiting for months now to get one but nobody has them.
After handling the display helmet at Indy, I am really excited to get mine!

Overall I am digging the helmet, here are a couple things I noticed coming from a Klim F4.
Tight fit, but in a good way, better way to say it might be a snug fit. I'm a medium in about all helmet brands but this one feels a touch snugger than any of my past helmets, but in a full day of riding, 2.5 hrs on the bike total and it never bugged me at all so I take this as a plus. Also I use a Fly F2 in the winter on snowmobiles, after a full day riding with it my ears will start to get sore from the fit. The formula did not have this issue so this is a big plus for me as some enduros in the summer can hit 5 hrs of seat time.
You can hear! Seriously at first I thought my bike had an issue since it was just well, loud. The helmet doesn't muffle sounds like my past ones so you literally hear more things, from your bike to the wind to others around you. Will be wearing ear plugs come race day.
Ventilation was awesome, was in the mid 70s here, so nothing crazy hot but I never felt sweaty after riding. Plenty of ventilation to keep me cool and wick away any sweat that would be building up.
Goggle port seems larger. It might not be but when I first put it on it seemed bigger and more peripheral vision. I could be nuts though, need to compare better side by side to my old helmet to see if this is real or I am just nuts.
Light weight. Never got a sore neck, or noticed the weight of the helmet, which is a good thing after a full day riding. Although I can't complain about the weight of my Klim F4 either, should look up the specs to compare the 2 or just put them on the scale tonight. If I do I'll post an update but overall the Formula for sure is a light helmet which is a must for me in the long races.
All in all I am very happy with it, and hope I never have to use any of its fancy safety features!

I used to wear a small in the older Fox V3 so it’s not like I have a head that borders on large!
