Just caught an MXGP Red Sands on Dish and began to wonder.... Did Cairoli ever consider the AMA Outdoor Nationals?
This Cat has been in the game a long time and he's the badass he's been for years.

I'm sort of hoping he gets his 10th title, then comes to the states for outdoors. That would be a hell of a way to go out

I think he would do serious damage if he did.
Honestly, what other way could be better? And I think it's very doable. I think all the euro hate on the Americans would be worth it to me lol
I would say it would be a little late in his career to give it a go. It would be an injustice to give it a half hearted attempt in a few years time.

After spending a while on this forum I see much more self loathing than any Euro hate.
Before the start of the GP's Cairoli resigned with KTM for another two years. Im a huge fan of Cairoli and I really hope he wins the Championship again this year. While I think it would be incredible to see him come here to race some rounds outside of the GP's I just don't see it happening nor do I blame him.To race in one series especially at that level and come here to race in another when that one is over is asking a lot. It was really cool to see Herlings come here last year that's for sure.

"half hearted attempt"..."late in his career"...like Villopoto did in the GP's?
Tony would destroy our national riders.
Look what Jeffery did last year? TC would kill our guys unless Tomac finds his missing consistency...
Yeah i enjoy seeing TC222 getting the holeshot almost every gooddam moto lol shits pure beauty
You don't leave a World Championship for a National Championship.
He's had/having one hell of a career minus the AMA burnout/injury train. Pretty easy math.
So it sounds like he would destroy our national riders. Any reasons/excuses on why he may get beat by an American or two at the nations this year? From the sounds of it, he has us covered. Obviously a crash or mechanical could stop him, but what if he has a good race? This is all just hypothetical. This isn't me bashing him, but to say he would destroy our guys on a national track is a big statement.

He's got nothing for Tomac at Red Bud
Best to just be happy with the past World Champions that have made the jump before having to face him in the big class.
“If you don’t crash alot, you just ain’t going fast enough” Chandler
I think it's quite possible that AC could win the outdoor national championship in the U.S. I also think it's quite possible that AC could qualify for the night show at a U.S. supercross.
All the riders with the speed and consistency in the US to beat TC here have retired before him and younger than him. He would kill it here. No reason to even come other than to gain some extra US fans he doesn’t even need lol

My sarcasm wasn't directed at AC...

Which Tomac? He would break Tomac like a twig in a series.

Why do these kinda threads keep popping up? Damn, get over AMA motocross already.
Can't you find something else to talk about? James Stewart, maybe?
F1. MotoGP. MXGP. Screw the rest.
