DNF
He held off Reed in the first moto and was going pretty good.
Third moto about 25/30 feet or so out of gate ,it looked like he clipped someone from behind and he went flying and the bike cartwheeled.
soar neck, dented ego.
big bummer for racing.
The Shop
But he's a damn fast MX rider.
the crash in the next straight was worse because of going spear into the face of a large takeoff.I think it was PhillyParts that was layin' there in a scarry lookin' fetal quiver.
Good to see guys going for it for their homeland.
Remember when Euros wouldn't huck the big jumps?
Wish I was getting smoked like that at my local races!!!!
Pit Row
I wonder if Tony will be lining up for that one.
It should also be more like a real SX track, like what we have here in the States.
"Our main objective for 2009 is to offer the highest-level event to all of the fans; for this reason James will find competitive challengers and a real Supercross track, to be raced in 55 second lap time and to be created inside the Genoa International Fair Palasport, one of the largest in Europe, which will be entirely used for the realization of the track, for such a contest only."
I'm going to Italy!
BTW I think it was our guy Mackenzie who came across on him, but again, Im sure he was just trying to get to the corner as quick as he could, just as Toni, or anyone else would do if they thought they had inched infront of the guy next to them.
Remember AC is riding a 390cc that's maybe why he was struggling to launch on the big jump that Reed and most 450F guys were doing.
And big crash for him at the start can't do anything about it a shame for him and the fans. BTW Pyrohnen broke his leg in the crash...
