Is this an Answer ad or an Eli ad?

Why would it be an Eli ad? Answer do not sponsor Eli, it is not Eli in the picture nor does it say Eli anywhere in the ad.

Yeah, talk about poor marketing decisions. The 1 & 3 make it worse.

I'm starting to dig the simplicity of their gear. But I have cat gear... You can't really take anything I say seriously anymore.

Me personally, I really like the way the gear looks. The Elite line is clean and color combos are cool.

its a great looking branding mark, but a terrible choice with consideration to the market/competition. no one will read that as ELITE before they read it as Eli Tomac 3

I thought for sure that was an Eli logo, but never paid any attention to it being a blue #2 bike or an Answer ad. Fantastic logo for Eli; absolutely terrible for Answer.

Everybody's talking about Answer now though, aren't they? In my opinion that's good marketing and they probably knew exactly what they were doing when making the ad

More importantly look at the "power button" logo for Vital MX. And the MX has been used many times elsewhere. So many errors. We might have to do a complete revamping of the site here.SillyTongue

The "power button" never bothered me, but I was never a fan of the "MX" part of it.

I'd prefer something more simple like this:

Poor execution...why are the 1 and 3 relevant to ELITE? Am I missing something? I work as a designer. If I decide to make the I and E to 1 and 3 there is a reason conceptually. I see this as some designer trying to be clever for no reason.

Yeah they are trying to get Tomac fans to click on the banner! Simple really, I’m surprised somebody is letting that slip by.

You noticed the ad. Then you talked about it.

Brought to you by the company that thought ANSR was a good idea.

....and I clicked on it, and after realizing that it wasn’t an A-Stars ad I clicked out of it and decided I probably would never purchase Answer gear.

Talking about it is all that is going on.

People are here talking about it, not buying it. Vital is getting paid, so keep showing it.
