If true, this sucks. 40th to 13th in the first moto and 4th in the second moto is a lot of work to see go away.

I think the important words here are HATER and TRIED. Official Results don't show him getting disqualified.

Man this guy is fitter than I thought. Not sure what happened in moto 1 off the start but he was dead last. Came back to 13th. That must have taken a lot out of him. That makes his 4th place pretty impressive.

Dude was on the gas in the second moto. Had a good battle with Tomac. Haters gonna' hate.

17 minutes left of moto 2. I’m just now watching the races. I can get a clip later on if no one else does in the mean time.

Him crossing the split lane was badass. It was accidental the first time then he figured it out it was faster so he started using it I guess. No disrespect to HEP but I'd love to see Max on a bigger team for 2021....he's got some speed in him.

Pics for proof of hot wife. Max might not have won the race, but he is winning at life!

Guess the guys are just pissed off because they couldn’t think outside of the box. The middle of that split section is still part of the track and it was never marked off. All fair game. That’s a GP line if I’ve ever seen one. Our guys need to start opening their eyes to see this kind of stuff.

I was hoping they would show him some more to see if he continued taking that line. Definitely a clever move, cant hate on that and it isn't against the rules.

Actually for a fair skinned Englishman he's always dealt with the heat & humidity pretty well.

Well done Max, great for HEP and Max to get up the top 5. Did anyone compare savagy's bike to max's bike on the coverage today? I am certainly no suspension expert, i just thought Max's bike rode a lot lower in the rear and looked softer than Joey's bike. Joey was riding great but didn't look that comfortable and confident in his machine. Only my thoughts and totally wrong possibly. It made me wonder if they ever test each others bikes or share info.

To be fair, though, the first time he did it was an accident. He came into the inside line hot and kind of bounced himself over it. After that, it was game on.

It’d be great if he would get more consistent, because when he’s on, the dude’s a world beater. There wasn’t a rider in earth who was going to beat him at the des Nations in Matterly Basin a few years ago.

Its OK, you can cut half a lap if you want, its all good apparently.

He was 6th or 7th through the first split in Moto 1 too, but either stalled or went down... was 50 secs down, and 30 secs off the back when he came through the next split.

I think that is the first time he raced a non-steel framed 450 in the sand.

I’m with you Phil. If you go off-track you should re-enter where you left.

Looked to me like he kept it between the yellow track markers. Everything in between is fair game.

All after they seen Max use it. Tomac used it twice, bagget used it a few times, and I also believe sexton used it in the heat of the battle. So unless they planned on DQ everyone I think Max was safe. Not to mention in person the split was pretty damn tall and square so the fact he took time to grove a line in it mid race was insane

They all did the exact same thing at Red Bud in the corner before the leap. No track markers, no problem.

Does this actually relate to Max and his enduro line?
