I am having a hard time finding an extended van in my price range.
I need a bench seat for the kids(6&10y/o) but they don't need a ton of room . I will be hauling 2 50s, 450, Zuma and typical race day crap.
Do you think all that could fit in a regular van if setup right ?
Most likely the 450 will be staying in the garage more and more.
Next questions:
Would you rather buy a newer van with high miles or an older van with low miles ?
What do you guys think about the high-top handicap vans? I've found some good deals on those.

BUT, if the 450 is optional, you could get a hitch hauler for that and design the race van setup around the kids. I would think a reg van would be fine. You know how time flys and those 50s will be 125s soon.
Low miles, Older for me. With in a 15 year range. I don't want a 70s panel van with a fresh V8...
If you can ditch the zuma for an EMTB I think you can pull it off. Here's my rig. If you see me at the track you are welcome to crawl around with a tape measure.
Middle seat, five adults comfortably, three full size bikes in the back with all our gear.

I don't have kids, but if I did I wouldn't want them riding on some janky bench seat setup screwed into the floor.
You didn't say your price range but I think between $10-15K you could find either a Ford E350 or Express/Savana 3500 passenger van in decent shape with reasonable miles.
Why does everyone with a motovan that is finished think they're worth 3 times what a normal van is worth lol, I spent about 400 bucks total to build my wall, lay whole wood floor down, all the seats, screws, bunch of misc hooks, etc.
Granted this van is way sicker than mine with the color and wheels, etc. but its not gonna get the job done any better.
Clean Van with 125000 miles looking 10-12k if not more
Build metal wall with plywood labor and materials 2-3k
Rockford fosgate Stereo system with back up camera 2k-3k with labor
Wheels and tires 2200
Wrap 3k
Toe hitch with install 500
2nd battery with insulator, nverter and isulator 1k
Tow mirrors 300
Led headlights 300 and bulbs
The list goes on.
Just thIs past Friday I picked up a E150 cargo with a factory seat installed. In that position I didn’t have enough room to fit the bike lengthwise and can’t do diagonal as I’ll occasionally have 2 bikes. I re located the factory second row seat base mounts through the floor using all existing hardware and to have enough room to fit the bikes straight in the back seat is only about 4” behind the back of the front seats in their full rear position.
If I were you and bringing the family along I would get a GMC or Chevy as there is a tad bid more space that works well for Moto. Only draw back is that in the lower price ranges you’ll only be able to get the years that the shitty base primer was used and the paint will peel right off the exterior if it hasn’t already.
I’ve had both fords and gm’s and it’s a toss up. I like the way the fords drive but like the space of the gm’s. At any rate vans are friggin awesome. Good luck!
I must just be a lucky guy
