I just happened t see a Twitter post from MMITopTech (Todd Williamson) that David Villalpando aka BurritoMX passed away. Burrito was another MotoTalk friend not unlike DW. So crazy to hear about these old friends passing, especially so close in time. Gospeed, Burrito.

Thank you Paul. Such a sad day. Met Burrito about 20 years ago. He was such an inspirational person and no matter what life through at him, he always stayed positive. Will definitely be missed.

That sad 😢
I never met him but remembered him well. Seemed like a great guy and was a great contributor to the forums.

Sure hate to hear that. I'm pretty sure I used to see him on the old Fresh Dirt MX forum back in the mid 90's. RIP David.

So sad to read this. Sincere condolences to Burrito's (David's) friends and family.

Too many of our moto-board brothers leaving us. Sad

RIP Burrito

Met Burrito when he lived in the Richmond, VA area back in 2005/2006. I was selling some parts on eBay and he hit me up and said we should go ride! Spent the next few years riding/racing with him quite a bit. Lots of road trips to North Carolina Motorsports Park in Henderson, NC where these pics are from. Never met a more core moto guy ever than Burrito. He was a great guy.

David was definitely one of the good guys. He had battled various health issues for years. Roost in peace, Burrito

Man, too young. Dude was a solid moto brother in ready to lend a helping hand. Is there a collection for expenses or the family anywhere?

Nooo! Such a sad news. David was a very cool dude, always enjoyed our bench racing and personal lives chats. RIP Brother. I imagine DW and him are joining TFS on a message board up there.

Exchanged messages with David quite a few times here on Vital and he was always very complimentary of my artwork.
Godspeed David a sad loss.
