It's a hybrid! That plastic makes the bike look totally different. They better get a patent on that pipe design before FMF copies that.Wink

I would be intrested in the blue smoker sitting behind it, but the RM may be a little to much to handle with the modified pipe and all.Whistling

I'm pretty sure it is an 81 but the tank and radiator plastics look like a 97,98 The seat is for sure a stock seat from a 1997 RM so I suspect the tank and plastics are as well. The swing arm is for sure from the early 80's. From the position of the radiator it makes me think it was an 81 which was the first year of the watercoooler on the RMs..

I'm in 100% belief that are some socal tweekers. And since the inland empire is a absolute mecca for tweekers it's maybe closer to a Canard 200%.

That bike is a culmination of 5 generations of RM125's all wrapped into one pretty ugly package. Look at it this way with so many generations of RM in one bike it has to be badass!

Pretty sure this is a vehicle from the movie Road Warrior. The one that jumps over the tires in the petro camp. $500 is a steal..

You mean the 1990 YZ 250? I wouldn't mind having that one, either.

Some stuff need to be recycled. People me including tend to keep things a bit to long. Torch it, kill it and take it out of its misery.

If the original plastic is somewhere in the pile behind the bike then it isn't such a bad deal.

Tweekerslist I mean craigslist is good times. Lightning I'm not sure where that rear fender came from..lol Hard to piece the year of every piece but I think you're right. The funniest thing he wrote was how the pipe was modified as u can see..lol . I'm not sure modified is the word I would of used. I still can't believe the thing starts on 1st kick. That's impressive. I have friends with 2007 and newer 4 strokes that won't start period. This bike is a testament to the 2 stroke toughness..

I've actually been on there quite a bit lately trying to find a little play bike for my 7 yr daughter for the summer. She's been harassing me for 3 yrs and I'm giving in and getting her something like a crf70. While trying to find one I've run into so comical listings on there.
