Your days are dwindling, oh-overpriced-machines-clanging-with-valve-trains-and-other-

expensive schnizzle-I-know-nothing-about.

Two local lads, tired of taking out loans to repair their 08 RMZ450 and 09 KX450F have

purchased YZ250's.

One of these kids I'll call Dack Zeeland and the other R.J.Tartshorn (to protect their identities...)

Anyway, one picked up an 09 YZ250 and the other a gently worn 06 YZ250.

Their smiles have returned and their wallets are back in tune.

* I'll probably see these varmints out there today, as I saunter about on the 250F or KX 144 - or perhaps one of two XR-80s we recently acquired. I like all folks and all strokes.

the simplest fix for a 450 fourstroke is running race fuel! smooth as butter!

Later on I will by a YZ250 to see what the buzz is about, but I will keep my 250F parallel so no mistake will be made to which to keep! Smile

Yesterday at the track,. I pulled into the pits and parked. Looked to my left seen a 04 KX 125, looked to my right and seen a CR250R, I proceeded to unload a 09 YZ 250.

Wang -Chung, lilly lilly ling ling, wang wang - dung.

problem is money is an issue with alot of riders so it's hard to eat up cash by the tankful with race gas

I just bought a 1998 YZ125 and realized that bikes have not come that far in 12 years. That thing is slimmer, lighter, and more fun than I ever thought I would have on it. I just got done ordering some parts now that I know I'm keeping it. Yesterday I had a blast smoking everyone at the track(practice hero) on a $750 dinosaur. I must admit though, I did smoke the clutch. I'm a 34 year old mid level expert rider, and that bike made me smile big..

Rupert, I have a few flavors a YZ450F, YZ250R and a YZ125R. Last week I took the '05 125 (my son's old bike) out to the track; although it is truly not set up for me, what a blast that thing is to ride! In fact, I recently did the Pala test the new 2011 KTM ride, and the funnest and smile crackin bike out there was the new KTM 150. And, I heard that from a lot of riders. As the newbies would say - That thing is SSSIIIICCKKK!

To much fun with 2 strokes.

I'm thinking of trading in my YZ450 for a 1986 CR500. That would be so fun and easy to ride. It's so "flickable".

Apparently you didn't get the memo, there is an easier fix for the 4-choke, craigslist!!!

Where else can you get rid of a pile, and get a sweet sounding machine!!!

A guy in the 40+ runs a yz125. He doesn't get the start, but runs 'em down, of course you can barely hear that thing, until he's a few bikelengths ahead, then close your eyes and listen to that sweet sound and smell, ahhh. I can go alot faster on 450, but get bored quick, then get the yz125 out and it is so much fun, only thing stopping me is me!

I hate it when i am at my local track and get passed by a 125 when i am on my 450.
Makes me want to buy a 2 stroke just so i can have fun passing dudes on 4 strokes.
There is no mistaking one when they are behind you wannggg.

4 strokes are here to stay, 2 strokes are done, they arent being produced anymore, get over it, move along, stop racing and riding if you don't like it!

Just got back from a day of ridng on my KTM 200 two stroke, which I race at the expert/A level locally. Also, I have a 250f mod race bike, guess which one I'm selling or trading in! The fart mahine! I don't enjoy riding it nearly as much, I feel slower on it unless the track is just super slick and even then I still like the two stroke. Looking at getting a two fitty smoker to replace it. Braaaaapp!!!

they are still being poduced you bone head..and by the way I got promoted out of the plus 30 novice class riding a KDX 220... so 4fiddy that !!!!.... so if you need twice the displacment to be competitive well good for you ,you sorry loser. it is not about the arrow it's about the indian,, and by the way the plus 30 class at lorretta lynns was won by a guy on a 125 tw stroke. so light your pipe and 2smoke that MX7MX ...so that said,, peace out , GOD BLESS and I hope you have fun with whatever arrow you choose.....<><
