With Jason Anderson rumored to be filling the empty spot left by Eli Tomac at Kawasaki for 2022...and judging from the supposed issues with personal rider bike setup on the green team...I was just thinking...

Do you think JA21 is making a mistake?

I know the money has to be good...and Jason could probably use a change of scenery to jump start a career that has gotten a little "stagnant"...but I wonder if Kawasaki will give him what he needs to succeed?

It's off-season...so I'm just rambling here...

The big question is if he throws away a win will Denny call him Elito Hombre?

I don't think Cooper Webb is riding for Kawasaki, or anybody but KTM in 2022. Thanks for playing though...

I think it's a good question. I wonder that, myself. So many factors though. Maybe Kawi realizes that they have to rethink some things, after all of the Eli stuff has been talked about in the open. And if so, they may be more willing to listen to the rider. I never got the impression that JA is hard to work with or 1 of those guys that always complains about the bike, but I could be wrong about that. I am hoping that the change does him some good. When he's feeling it, he's got awesome speed and is fun to watch. It'll be weird seeing him on a different machine though.

Dude rails and has that wide open, hang off the back style that I think will fit the Kawi chassis. I think it'll be a learning curve in SX though, he's not going to be knifing under people like they all do on the Austrian frames.

I was thinking similar. Will Kawasaki be hard lined on settings/equipment like we've heard about them in the past with other riders? Will Jason be OK with that type of program? We will see!

I expect neither side (JA or Kawasaki) will be 100% happy, it comes down to being the best available option for both sides. The team gets a championship winning veteran rider, and JA gets to ride a factory bike.

It will be interesting to see. Jason has been on the Austrian brand for so long now. Who knows, maybe he will gel with the Kawasaki and be a consistent top 5 guy again. Maybe a total refresh will do him some good. I'm certainly hoping so! Seems like a good dude.

No.....the bike is really good so i think he'll do well. I think it's a good change.....he wasn't really getting to that level of speed that he needed to be at to win another title. This may do it..

Jason and Adam together on the same team? I think we're gonna have some excellent Team Fried footage. There will be actual fun & laughter in the team rig. And, tI'm betting they'll likely ACTUALLY RIDE TOGETHER more often and achieve some good combined testing.

But, I could be wrong.

Either way, I'm stoked for both of the riders.

2022 can't get here soon enough.

Team Fried is riding for Team Kawasaki. Any one else find that a bit ironic?

Is that a "What's in the locker?" joke?

I think he is one of the guys who benefited from Aldons structure. I don’t know what to expect, It wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up winning the thing, or ending up 10 points.

Jasonan Derson. Or maybe, "Jasonan, el Hombre De Rson."

I'm just referring back to when Team Kawasaki dropped Emig after the Havasu parties. Just seems to be an interesting partnership since Kawasaki was very quick to distance themselves from that image. I'll be cheering on Anderson this season, change is good!

Im a little confused to why theyre hiring anderson.

1. Anderson is laid back and enjoys the laid back atmosphere from rockstar husky. Kawi isnt like that.

2. Anderson isnt a winning rider.

My gut is telling me anderson is a place holder until they get someone better than AC

Kawasaki has no problem with their riders being fried, as long as they're winning. See: Ron Lechien

seems like he needs a change of pace, so the Kawi deal may be good for him. or maybe not.

It will be an interesting cultural fit over at Kawi. Anderson is a unique individual for sure. I wonder how he will like the atmosphere and if he will be happy there, which will make a difference in his results.

I think it’s a “caught on the bridge in Havasu with some weed” joke.

I think a change of scenery will be good for him. I don't think it could be any worse than what he was on this year. And he rode for team green as an amateur if I'm not mistaken(?) So it's not totally foreign. Obviously the current generation KX450 is a great bike and is proven in outdoors and SX. Febvre is killing it on that thing right now and AC was going good until he got hurt this year. Maybe if SX doesn't go well he can be healthy for outdoors and do a full season. Does anyone know if he will be keeping the Airoh helmet?
