Start the GIF, then try and change the front tire on your bike! I think they did a good job, especially under that pressure! Hopefully Anderson can wrap it up next weekend in Vegas!

Beer in hand though? Because then you're really setting the bar high.

If ya can't change a tire after 8 Natty Ice's on a Saturday afternoon in 30 seconds or less, you clearly didn't have enough Natty Ice.

I read that they had issues with the front break pads closing up a little - so they were struggling with getting the front rotor in between them, or else they would have had it done sooner.

They also didn't know what the issue was when Anderson first pulled in, and all he did was point to the front wheel. Then started yelling at them. So I'm sure that equates for some of the time as well.

I just push the caliper over with my hands to open it up before I remove the wheel. Works even better on the rear.

I didn't see any of the mechanics or Jason pump the brake lever after they mounted the wheel. I bet he had a butthole pucker moment going into that berm after the first rhythm section.

Somebody from ktm should have "accidentally" pulled the front brake lever while the wheel was off. It would have been an instant classic.

With a 35 point lead going into the race. Did he expect to lose the championship over a extra minute ?

Tough luck in the 1st turn but he will be ok going into Vegas.

i did that to a friend of mine. he would compress the caliper then turn around to grab the wheel and i'd pump the lever. he'd go to place it and it was tight, so he'd do it again and so would i. after the 3rd or 4th time he caught on. fuckin' hilarious

Doing it solo isn't a good comparison, as there were three dudes working on the tire change. Three dudes that change more wheels in a week than most on this forum will change in a year...but it didn't look that way Saturday night. One thing I noticed is how frantic they were. Letting yourself get all worked up doesn't help when you're trying to do a very specific, precision task; it's one of those situations where you need to slow down to go fast. That and maybe practice some more.

I use my boot because most likely the caliper is hot as hell and even with gloves you could burn your hand....

When I take my front wheel off I either back bleed by hand as per T J 755 or give the wheel a bit of a twist and use the disc to spread the pads on the way out. Makes it a helluva lot easier to shove back in!
