Effin Southern Maryland can get brutal this time of year.

Shame to think this might be the last National there.

I've always wondered, with what that place has, what kind of event that could be.
I mean, it could be an all weekend extravaganza.
If John could get some kind of upper level Drag Race on Friday night.
And the National MX on Saturday.
Then, an AMA short track to finish the weekend out on Sunday, I mean, for the racerheads out there,
could it get any better?

It’s not Budds Creek unless your boiling. Been going since 1991. It used to be an all weekend affair when I was younger and helping a few privateers. Now one day is all I got

Made our first visit there in 2016. Very very glad to have hospitality passes. Place was pretty warm that day.

Really hope Budd's stays on the schedule so I can make it there for a national. For some reason I get a little more excited about this round than some of the others. It is a great track. Who can forget the epic RC / Bubba battle there in '07?!

Hmmm, I don't remember paying less than that at any national in the last 20+ years. I could be wrong but Budds isn't that far from some major population centers...why the low attendance? Clue me.

John Beasley told me ever since he lost his Father’s Day weekend attendance has suffered. Not sure exactly why that is. Great track and people.

That track just races very well. It just may very well be the best track. Glad they left it get dry and slippery in places. Great race!!!
